violet is a natural helper and servant personality. she made it feel like she would gladly do anything for you. she never seemed burdened or put out and always went the extra mile. my husband, on the other hand, looked like he was going to pass out any second. and did. doulas = better than husbands. not only that, but violet was cheerful and positive the whole time. i would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula. this is definitely her natural calling. a perfect fit.

After meeting Violet, I knew right away she was passionate about taking care of new mommies. I loved when she came to my house and put on her 50s style apron and started getting things done. She really made it possible for me to spend more time with my baby while I let my body heal after the birth. She was also very helpful to me with other concerns I had as a new mom like breastfeeding woes and giving A. her first bath. She was very constructive at giving me advice and steering me in the right direction with out crossing any lines. Violet is great at what she does and is very great person to invite into your home. I would recommend her to anyone, and defiantly ask her to be my doula again!

It was so nice having Violet help me after the birth of our son. She arrived for each appointment cheerful and ready to do anything that might need doing. It was so great to not have to worry about my dirty dishes or laundry on a day she was coming. When I was able to take my first good shower after the birth, it was because of her that I had clean clothes to put on afterward, it was one of those things that you just can't put a price on! She always text before she was coming to see if we needed anything. She gave practical advice and was supportive and encouraging when breastfeeding challenges got me down. She reminded me to use the many resources for assistance and support. One day, I just had her hold the baby so I could take a long shower without thinking I was hearing him cry. We will definitely call Violet again with our next baby! Thank You, Violet for your passion for babies and their moms, we so appreciate you!
